LINGFIELD TURF

4.00 Rahman Ravelli EBF Fillies’ Novice Median Auction Stakes (Plus 10 Race) (Class 5)

Follia by Toronado out of Follia. Third foal; half-sister to 5f winner Spoof (inc at 2; RPR 101) and a winner in Italy; dam placed in Italy (inc 6f 2yo Listed; 90), half-sister to Italian 7.5f 2yo Listed winner Fanoulpifer out of 1m AW winning half-sister to smart AW sprinter Pretend.

Taking debut when 20-1 third in Newmarket novice last month (6f, good to firm), meeting trouble at a crucial stage and racing away from the front pair; the winner followed up and the rival 2l behind in fourth won well next time; major player.

Restless Endeavor by Dandy Man out of Belgique. E11,500 F, E20,000 Y; 5th foal; half-sister to winners Zylan (5f-1m inc Fibresand; RPR 98), Varun’s Bride (1m AW; 62) & Kokoni (Singapore 7f); dam 7f AW/1m turf winner (85) sister to 7f Listed 2yo winner Bruges, granddaughter of smart 6f/7f performer

Barely needed to improve upon debut second at Chelmsford to emerge best in four-way finish at Kempton (7f) five days later, beating Lyricist Voice (same trainer/owner as Follia) by a nose; switches to turf carrying 7lb penalty but has a chance.

Irish Tweed by Roderic Oconner, Sixth foal; closely related to 1m4f AW winner Inclyne (RPR 84), half-sister to winners Elm Park (7f-1m inc 2yo Group 1; 118), Brorocco (1m1f-1m2f; 108) and Highland Pass (7.5f-1m; 81); dam 1m AW winner (80), out of 8.5f winner. A Late foal but Decent Family and will win Races, cant Rule out a win here but Likely need this. From a family I quite Like. should come into her own as a 3yo over a mile+

Gypsy Whisper by Helmut. First foal; dam 7f AW winner (RPR 81), half-sister to 7f AW 2yo winner Buffalo River out of US 1m/8.3f dirt winning sister to US 1m1f Grade 2 winner My Pal Charlie and US 6f Grade 2 winner Bwana Charlie April foal with two Fair Efforts under her Belt, not a bad family and the stallion does Upgrade his mares. This Trip Looks Perfect and Id be expecting some sore of Significant Improvement with this one based on Foaling and trip and what we have seen so far, Definitely the Type I look for as many think she might be out to get a mark but her handicap wont be that much affected by a win here and her Profile on Pedigree says the Old shalaliegh might be getting Produced today.

High Shine by Paco Boy, 7th foal; sister to 7f AW 2yo winner Equal Sum (RPR 78), half-sister to winners Pythagorean (7f-1m GB/Australia; 102), Maths Prize (7f-1m2f inc 2yo; 104), Sextant (1m3-1m4f; 108) & Longside (11.4f; 72); dam 11.6f winner (81), out of 1m4f/1m5f Gr 2 winner.

Full Sister to Equal Sum who won first time out over 7 f, other speed Influence that has been sent to the Dam! Hypotenuse. have also won over 7f, 2nd Dam Produced High class Progeny too from a fantastic British Type family, They all Improve for trip However! but 15/1? is pretty strange Betting for one with such a great Family in terms of class compared to the Other runners no disrespect to them. Either someone Knows something or? they are Laying to back. Warrens Queens Racing Managers would Know more than me but still I cant see how this one is so big,

Summer Valley by Mukhadram, 2,000gns foal; 14th foal; half-sister to seven winners, including Tiger Eye (7f 2yo; RPR 98) and Alright My Son (1m 2yo; 88); trainer has low strike-rate with 2yos and is 0-5 with them in 2019.

One to watch in 3yo Hurdles next yr maybe at Fontwell if that Track is still going, not sure I don’t follow Jumps, but used too for many Yrs,

Summary. The form of the fav is OK, Folia! may win here but were going for that second place and could Possibly actually win this with the tip, but lets just try to get that second spot, the Osborne Horse does Look OK Form! but id take the Newbury form to surpass that Kempton form maybe even at the places behind, and expect the better run today based on Foaling and pedigree, Improvement is most Likely now. after two runs based on this. all the class is with the Bell Filly whose full sister won on Debut over this trip, as I said the Betting is strange surrounding that one, But I wouldn’t put it past them to be laying to back. the family say this type of Test wont be that Troublesome and the Number you’d expect first time out possibly surpasses anything these could achieve. that’s my Quandary.

TIP 1 GYPSY WHISPER 2/1 now for a place WIN, two places on pro markets sky b365 coral bet is 1pt at 2/1 place win, HIGH SHINE 9/2 place win…..win 1/4pt fun, Just in case.

ZAHEE 7/2 1PT WIN. the 3yos a Medium sized filly I do like this 4yo here today, it will be close the fav looks likely to go close so this is a bit of a punt being a 4yo, this time of the yr, but I do like him! A real Slow Maturer who should get Pattern class back in Meydan this “WINTER”, As I say the filly gets all the weight Allowances so this is a Punt.
