3.00 Greene King IPA Conditions Stakes (Plus 10 Race) (Class 2)

Surf Dancer by Lope de Vega out of Beach Belle (by Invincible Spirit)

E260,000 Y; first foal; dam 5f/6f 2yo winner (inc Listed; RPR 103), sister to UAE 6f winner Bechcomber Bay, closely related to 6f Listed winner Naadirr out of 1m1f Listed winning granddaughter of 1m 2yo Gr 1 winner/French Oaks second Miss Tahiti Won at Liecester.

A race that lacked anything in the way of strength in depth but a useful performance from the winner, who is the sort to hold his own in better company. The gallop was reasonable.

Surf Dancer upped in trip, stepped up on the form of his racecourse debut run to win an ordinary event with a good deal in hand. He’ll have no problems with 1m, he’s in very good hands and he appeals strongly as the type to win more races. Racing Post Correspondent. The Dam won her first two races then went a close 4th beaten 2.75 lengths in a grp 1, so this is an Underwhelming Next run for me, quite Negative, given the Authority of his last win all be it was an Ordinary race, makes me wonder? if they know they can win something decent and this is a pre prep run? 8/11??? for me these 2yo races like I’ve been explaining: need a lot of thought as to what you might think the Program is for the Horse?

and what races can be sacrificed all being that they could probably win but the Horse isn’t at peak for this contest. Maybe, so its not saying he will get beat as hes obviously Good but what Number can he run to if this is a pre prep for something Bigger? that is how you can grab value out of these races.

State Crown  by New Approach out of Patroness (by Dubawi) 4th foal; closely related to 7f 2yo/1m2f Listed winner Key To Victory (RPR 109), half-brother to winners Blair House (1m-1m1f inc UAE Group 1; 117) and Lover’s Knot (6f 2yo; 81); dam placed 1m1f in France (84), sister to 1m Group 1 winner Poet’s Voice The Dams Had Three winners all have won or went close on debut 90 rpr & 97 rpr, now they’ve sent this Fantastic Mare to one of Godolphin’s Best Up and Coming Stallions and One of my Fav Stallions ever New Approach,

I can’t tell you how excited I am by this Latest offspring from this fantastic Broodmare in Patroness of Godolphin for a few more to come from her as an 11yo Mare., he has big boots to fill and this could be the Next champion I’m Not Joking, Id like to see a win here today then I’m guessing he will be off to Meydan for the challenge

Light Angel  by Dark Angel out of Light the stars (by Sea the Stars) First foal; dam Group-placed 7.5f 2yo winner (stayed 1m2f; RPR 106), half-sister to French 2.000/French Derby winner Lope De Vega and Group 3 winners Bal De La Rose (1m2f) and Lady Frankel (1m), out of 7f 2yo Group 3 winner Stamina and speed, Not very Big and is very Buzzy! in his races but this test may well suit his style of going and won’t be far away, has the best form so far, 95rpr, One I like despite the Yard saying He hasn’t the Scope of Others with his size he Knows how to win and Sometimes the Trainer John Gosden or Assistant Thady Gosden can just Defend their Charges a wee bit and not go overboard on them? they like to keep things Diplomatic I think. which is what they should be doing for my Money Perfect. its a game you have to work at for winners for me, those easy Betting algorithms never made anyone rich or did they?

Banmi by Kodiak out of Fingal Nights by (Nigh-shift USA)

Improved with each run and she got off the mark in determined style over C&D 13 days ago; the form of that looks well short of what will be needed here though unless theirs more major Improvement? The dams bred 4 Winners Best 98 RPR, does Look a Little outclassed but I would never say Never when it comes to 2yos and does have the Pedigree to be competitive here and has won here Too.
